On the Farm Today: July 18th

1. The sun is finally shining! The rain has made our grass and garden extremely wet and soggy. The good news is that most of what we planted is surviving. It has been a touchy year bc of all the rain. Most of our blooms are looking good.

2. U PICK FOR JULY 24TH IS CANCELLED. Although things are looking good, we won’t have enough yet for a U Pick. No worries though, just postponed a week.

3. We have had patches of flowers bloom and we have sold them to florists and other farmers. In order to have a variety of flowers for csa members and the community, its important to make sure we have a nice variety and plenty of them. So hang in there with us. Last years csa didn't start until August 8th and all our members were happy!

4. I am continually working on weeding, deadheading, mowing and searching for a flow in my new normal. Rest, rest, rest is a big part of my equation right now. But I promise to do my best to make this a wonderful environment to come and visit and enjoy our flowers.

5. If your unable to make a Saturday U pick, feel free to schedule a private one. You can text me and we can work together to find a good time for you and your loved ones to come and pick! 513-235-4370 [leave me a text and I will get back to you promptly]

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Stay blessed,

Barb
